Tuned to the Right Channel: My ADHD as a Portal, Not a Problem.
Share
There are days I feel like I’m glitching.
Not because I don’t care. Not because I’m distracted.
But because the world expects me to move in ways my brain just doesn’t.
That’s what ADHD can feel like - especially when you’re a creative soul trying to stay grounded in a world built for straight lines.
I used to feel like I was failing.
I’d forget the “small” things.
Start 10 tasks and finish none.
Miss a message. Miss a moment. Miss myself.
But here’s the thing:
What felt like a breakdown was actually a different way of sensing.
My nervous system wasn’t broken - it was just broadcasting from a different signal tower.
THE STATIC + THE CHANNEL: ADHD IN REAL TIME
ADHD feels like standing in a room with 1,000 conversations happening at once - but only one of them is aligned with your purpose.
Sometimes it seems like I’m letting life slip.
Like there’s a whole list of things I should be doing, but my body won’t move.
Not because I’m lazy.
But because it all feels like TV static.
Here’s what I’ve come to understand:
That static is sacred.
It protects me.
It forces me to move with truth, not pressure.
ADHD helps me sense what’s necessary now - not what’s loudest.
And when something resonates, when a signal finally cuts through the noise?
I’m locked in. Fully present. Hyper-focused. Alive.
It’s like the universe has finally tuned the dial to the right channel.
I’M A CREATIVE GENIUS WITH A LYRAN MIND
I now know that I carry the Lyran frequency.
My mind is wired for pattern, frequency, light, and rhythm.
I wasn’t built to follow the rules - I was built to reimagine the blueprint.
To create from chaos, not in spite of it.
ADHD doesn’t hinder that- it heightens it.
It makes me sensitive, responsive, fast-moving, and fluid.
It allows me to drop into creative flow so deeply that the rest of the world disappears - and honestly? That’s where the magic lives.
A WORD FOR OTHERS LIKE ME
If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing it “wrong,”
if your brain forgets the basics but remembers the details of a dream you had six years ago,
if you start projects with fire and lose the thread in the fog -
you’re not broken.
You’re just tuned to a different frequency.
And this world is slowly learning how to receive that brilliance.
Honour your rhythm.
Anchor your creative bursts.
And let the static do its job - it’s filtering the noise for you.
—
You’re not lost. You’re not lazy. You’re listening.
And one day soon, the signal will come in loud and clear.
Stay ready.
